Rome attractions are of the greatest treasures and historical wonders in the world. Where else can you walk through a papal palace, see an Egyptian obelisk, and stroll streets as old as the time of Jesus? Of course we don't have enough room to list al the unforgettable attractions in Rome, so we've cut it down to listing our all time favorites. We've included the Colosseum for its architecture and age. Another must see is the Vatican, because of its majesty, art collection, and, after all, there is no other. The Pantheon is another of Rome's only remaining ancient treasures, and another architectural astonishment. And, just for the sheer size of entertainment ancient Romans enjoyed, don't miss the Circus Maximus sports arena. You'll also discover more attractions throughout the city within its hundreds of museums, and even under the city in its incredible catacombs. Every square foot seems to be relevant, and street holds wonder in Rome. Rome attractions are unforgettable. ...click here for a list of Rome Attractions.

Rome restaurants are much like its architecture. You'll find restaurants serving generations old recipes as well as a few modern epicurean experimentations. Whether authentic or the menu of the moment, no city serves Italian food like Rome. Every neighborhood seems to have its own variety and style, but you've never tasted pastas and pizzas, salads and wines like those served in the restaurants of Rome. And, you'll also find a few ethnic eateries for when you've had your fill of pastas. French, American, Mediterranean, and Continental dining can be found within the city limits. As for pricing, well, here there's a much greater variety. Everything from affordable sidewalk cafes to five-star fine dining “ristorantes” can be found in Rome. And location is as simple as looking on the street you're walking. Romans love to eat out, and wherever you go in this city you are always moments from joining them in a great meal. Rome restaurants are awesome!...click here for a list of Rome Restaurants.

Rome hotels can provide everything you need for your best vacation ever! Location is never a worry and always a snap with great hotels in every section of the city. For the consummate sightseers, we recommend staying in the Pantheon and Piazza Navona area. Here you are within walking distance of many of the great ruins, as well as great shops and restaurants. Staying near the Vatican isn't quite as exciting, but if a quiet stay is what you're looking for this is your best bet. We like the fun and truly Roman neighborhood of Travestere. Here you will get the chance to see and do like the Romans do. For the greatest concentration of less expensive hotels, try near the Stazione Termini And, if the lowest budget is what you're dealing with, try the city's numerous “pensiones”: boarding house style rooms. But one thing they all have in common: Rome hotels are almost always full! Let's get your reservations done today!...click here for a list of Rome Hotels.

Rome nightlife is as legendary as its ancient ruins! No city offers this caliber of performing arts entertainment, with world-class opera, classical music, dance and live theater. Cultural lovers will be in nightlife heaven. And, for those seeking nightlife of the party variety, every section of Rome has some exciting venues for you. Discos and nightclubs are hugely popular and many change themes every season. Bars and coffeehouses are perfect for a less noisy and more relaxing evening, the coffeehouse are the best places for intimate conversation and winding down. Locals populate the city's bars and wine houses on a nightly basis, and here's where you'll get to do more like the Romans do. And Rome has some of the swankiest clubs in Europe with celebrities frequenting their tables nightly. But, for the biggest concentration of nighttime venues, the piazzas are the places to club crawl or bar hop. Rome recreation is all about exploring the natural and man-made wonders of the great city. Sightseeing is actually the number one form of recreation, with walking the city and sights keeping every visitor active every day. But you'll also find other ways to your favorite recreation. Beautiful golf courses are available in Rome, but many are private so be sure to check for visitor privileges. We recommend getting in your rounds at Parco de Medici as it allows temporary memberships. And, there are numerous places to get in some horseback riding. We recommend the Capannelle for its great facilities and instructors. And, for the more adventurous types, be sure to contact Sea Kayak of Rome for some amazing kayaking trips to some of the regions most beautiful islands. But, if staying in the city and on land are your preferences, then get to the most beautiful park in Rome, the Villa Borghese. Rome recreation is whatever you want it to be!...click here for a list of Rome Recreation activities.
