In conjunction with its seventy-fifth anniversary, The Ritz-Carlton Boston reopened on October 7 2002 after undergoing a forty-five million dollar renovation and restoration. Welcoming travelers since 1927, this Boston landmark is renowned for unmatched personal service in elegant surroundings. Located downtown at the corner of Arlington and Newbury Streets, the hotel overlooks Boston Common and the Public Garden and is surrounded by the city's most exclusive shops, galleries and museums with the business and theatre districts just minutes away. Crystal chandeliers, fine art and French Provincial furnishings grace spacious guest rooms and suites. Accommodations offer views of Commonwealth Avenue, Newbury Street, the Public Garden or surrounding buildings. Rome restaurants are much like its architecture. You'll find restaurants serving generations old recipes as well as a few modern epicurean experimentations. Whether authentic or the menu of the moment, no city serves Italian food like Rome. Every neighborhood seems to have its own variety and style, but you've never tasted pastas and pizzas, salads and wines like those served in the restaurants of Rome. Rome recreation is all about exploring the natural and man-made wonders of the great city.
